The taste and feel of Bollywood flicks are far unique than any other films produced in any other industry. The B-town movies have their distinctive charm and spice that enthralls the audience worldwide. But at times, some filmmakers try to find their inspiration from Hollywood to produce their own films with similar concepts.
Sarkar – The Godfather

One of the greatest movies of all-time ‘The Godfather’ has a Bollywood adaptation - ‘Sarkar’. The cult classic features Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Kay Kay Menon, Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak. Their brilliant performances were well received by the audience. The political crime thriller film was widely critically acclaimed.

Kaante – Reservoir Dogs

The 2002 drama-thriller film is adapted from the famous 1992 Quentin Tarantino flick, Reservoir Dogs. The multi-starer movie features some of the renowned actors of Bollywood. It portrays the revenge of innocent six men who were locked up in the prison and plan a heist to rob the bank where the salaries of police officers are deposited. We can witness some great performances by the six legendary actors.

God Tussi Great Ho – Bruce Almighty

The Salman Khan movie is an adaption of the Jim Carrey classic comedy film ‘Bruce Almighty’. The storyline is quite similar to the Hollywood flick with some additional punches. The 2008 motion picture also features Amitabh Bachchan as God/Almighty and Priyanka Chopra as the love interest of Salman.

Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. – Patch Adams

‘Patch Adams’ stars one of the finest actors of Hollywood, Robin Williams. Sanjay Dutt’s Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. is inspired by Patch Adams but the storyline is completely different. The core motto of both the films is similar. Munna Bhai will always as one of the best characters played by Sanju Baba. This film is considered as one of the major turning points in Sanjay Dutt’s career. This movie is a must watch for every individual.

Black – The Miracle Worker

One of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s finest work, ‘Black’, is adapted from Arthur Penn’s ‘The Miracle Worker’. The film depicts the life of a stubborn teacher who helps a hearing and visual impaired girl to unravel her true potential. The girl gradually takes on the challenge and graduates from the college. Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee gave one of the best performances of their career.
