Karan+ Kangana+ Nepotism=Tabloids front page
Ever since the later termed the former as "flag bearer of nepotism"(not without a reason), things have been rough between the both.
Karan Johar ‘s Upcoming Reality Show and Kangana`s equation had turned sour when the latter tagged him as a `flag-bearer of Nepotism` on his show Koffee with Karan. During IIFA Awards 2017, Saif Ali Khan, Varun Dhawan and Karan Johar took a jibe at the Queen actress by saying `Nepotism Rocks`. But, is Karan Johar finally ready to let bygones be bygones and welcome Lastest news of Kangana Ranaut back to his friend list? Well, at least he is willing to have her in his new show, India’s Next Superstars, which will go on air this week.
Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty have come together to judge the reality show India`s Next Superstar. Priyanka Chopra was the first celebrity guest on the show. Today, at the press conference, when KJo was asked if he will invite Kangana Ranaut as a celebrity judge on the show like PeeCee, he said, "I am sure if the channel invites Kangana Ranaut on the show, we will happily welcome her." “I am sure if Star Plus invites Kangana we will be happy to have her. Our hearts are big, and our doors are open. We will welcome her with all heart if she comes,” said Johar.
“The concept of the show is Endemol’s and the credit for this should go to them,” added the filmmaker. “I don’t think it is an answer from my side. It is true that a lot of people want to become a part of the entertainment industry. This platform is for people who have the talent but don’t have the backing. We are giving them this platform.” Karan also promised that the winners of the new show will get a chance to work in either one of his or Rohit Shetty’s films, or in a collaboration. Interestingly, he pointed out that this would be a “prominent role”, indicating the lead role would still go to one of his regulars.
Well, we can`t wait to see Kangana and KJo together going to be the judge of India`s Next Superstar. Hence, when the question arose if he would be willing to have Kangana, the one who labelled him nepotistic?
